In-line quality control of color, spectral absorption, or layer thickness is important in all industrial applications where transparent or colored plastic or glass materials are produced or coated with, e.g., protective varnishes.
There is a certain demand to control in situ the homogeneity of the products by measuring at different sites of the target.
The ETA-MSS enables parallel measurement of reflectance, transmittance or absorbance at different sites using multiple spectrometers, up to 256 spectrometers maximum.
